Terms of Service

1. What we provide

GoPhone rents you a virtual phone number in a supported country and shows you the SMS messages it receives. Numbers are supplied by third-party carriers. They are for receiving verification codes and short service messages; they cannot make or receive calls and cannot send SMS.

2. Your account

• You must give a valid email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may refuse service to anyone.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use a GoPhone number to:

• break any law or the terms of the service you are verifying with;
• impersonate another person or business, or evade a ban or suspension;
• commit fraud, send spam, harass anyone, or operate bulk or automated account farms;
• receive messages you are not entitled to, or resell the number to someone else.

Many services (banks, government agencies, some messaging apps) block virtual numbers or require a number that belongs to you personally. We do not guarantee that any particular service will accept a GoPhone number.

4. Billing

• Each number is a monthly subscription billed in advance at the price shown when you buy it. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• You can cancel a number at any time from your dashboard or the billing portal. Cancelling releases the number immediately and stops future charges; the current month is not refunded.
• If a payment fails we will email you and keep the number for a short grace period. If payment is not made, the number is released and you may not get it back.
• Released numbers are returned to the carrier and may later be assigned to someone else.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for continuous service but cannot promise it. Carriers occasionally withdraw numbers, delay messages, or filter certain senders, and we may need to change or replace a number. We may change prices or these terms with at least 14 days’ notice by email; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

6. Liability

GoPhone is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of access to a third-party account. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time by cancelling every number and emailing us. We may terminate accounts that break these terms without refund. Sections 3, 6 and 8 survive termination.

8. General

These terms are the whole agreement between us about GoPhone. If part of them is found unenforceable the rest still applies. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
